The KasbPro referral programme, explained in full

#referrals#pricing

Refer a business to KasbPro. When they become a paying customer, you both get 3 months of Pro free. Four referrals cover a whole year. Here are the exact rules.

The KasbPro referral programme, explained in full

Most referral schemes are written to sound generous and pay out rarely. The qualifying conditions sit in a footnote, the reward arrives as a coupon that expires, and by the time you work out what you actually earned you have stopped caring.

This is the whole KasbPro programme in one page, including the parts that limit it.

The offer

Refer a business. When they become a paying customer, you both get 3 months of Pro free.

That is genuinely all of it. It is double-sided — the reward is not a finder's fee you collect while your friend pays full price. The company you invited gets the same 3 months you do.

What they getWhat you get

Four of them pay—A full year of Pro free

Pro is $49 a year, so each successful referral is worth about $12.25 of free time to each side.

Why it is months, not a discount

The price of Pro never changes. There is no coupon, no percentage, no "special rate" that quietly expires and leaves you paying more than you expected next year.

You get time instead. Your renewal date moves forward by three months per referral, and it keeps moving as long as you keep referring. That has two consequences worth understanding:

  • Your reward never devalues. A discount on a price that later rises is worth less each year; three months of Pro is three months of Pro forever.
  • Nobody ends up on a different price to anybody else. There is one price, and some people simply are not paying it this year.

The rule that limits it

Both sides have to have actually paid. Trials never count.

This is the condition that most programmes bury, so here it is in plain sight. Signing someone up does not earn you anything. A 30-day trial does not earn you anything, on either side. The reward is granted only when the referred company has a real payment recorded — and when you do too.

That is deliberate, and it is why the programme can afford to be uncapped. A scheme that pays on signups pays for tyre-kickers, and it ends up funded by raising the price for everybody. A scheme that pays on real customers funds itself.

How to find your link

  1. Open Billing in KasbPro.
  2. Your invite link is on the referral card, in the form erp.kasbpro.com/auth/register?ref=XXXXXXXX.
  3. Copy it, or use Share to send it straight to WhatsApp or anywhere else.

Your code is eight characters — short enough to read out over the phone if someone would rather type it than click a link. Anyone who registers through it is attached to you automatically; there is nothing for either of you to claim later.

What happens after they pay

Nothing you need to do. When the payment goes through, the reward is applied automatically to both accounts and your renewal date moves out by three months. You can see the running total on the same billing card: how many people you have invited, how many have converted, and how many free months you have banked.

If you were already inside a paid year, the months stack on the end of it rather than being lost.

There is no cap

Four paying referrals cover a year. Eight cover two. There is no ceiling and no expiry on how far ahead your renewal can sit.

We can say that plainly because the arithmetic works: each referral costs us about $24.50 in free time across the two sides, and brings in a customer paying $49. Every referral is net positive no matter how many you make, so there is no point at which we would need to start refusing them.

Who this is actually for

Be honest with yourself about whether you would recommend KasbPro without the reward. If you would not, the referral link will not help — people can tell the difference between a recommendation and an advert, and a referral that does not convert earns nobody anything.

If you would recommend it, the programme just means you stop paying for something you were going to talk about anyway.

Start with the businesses whose situation you actually know: the friend still running their shop out of a notebook, the supplier who cannot tell you what they are owed, the person who asks you every year what you use for your books. Those are the referrals that convert, because the tool genuinely fits.
