Your Real Business Numbers, Inside Your WordPress Dashboard
The KasbPro Sync plugin adds read-only insight dashboards to wp-admin — profit, cash, receivables, replenishment and CRM — without leaving your WooCommerce site. Here is exactly what it does and does not do.
If you run a WooCommerce store, you likely spend most of your working day inside wp-admin. Switching tabs to check your real profit margin or whether you are about to run out of stock breaks that workflow — so most store owners just do not check, and find out too late.
The KasbPro Sync plugin exists for that specific gap. Here is what it actually does, described precisely rather than as a feature list, because the distinction between "shows you" and "does it for you" matters.
What it is: a read-only insight dashboard
Once the plugin is installed and connected with an API key, it adds a KasbPro menu to your wp-admin sidebar with six pages: Overview, Sales, Purchases, Inventory & Replenishment, CRM, and Finance.
Each one pulls live data from your KasbPro account through the API and displays it — profit and cash trend, receivables and overdue invoices, top customers and suppliers, what to reorder and roughly when, and your open CRM pipeline. It is genuinely useful to see this next to your WooCommerce orders screen instead of in a separate tab you have to remember to open.
It is read-only. Every page has an "Open in KasbPro" button that takes you to the full app for anything that involves changing data — approving an expense, editing an invoice, creating a purchase bill. The plugin displays; the app is where the work happens. That is a deliberate boundary, not a missing feature — your accounting should not be editable from inside your CMS's admin panel, where a compromised plugin or a misclicked bulk-edit could touch it.
What syncs, and in which direction
This is the part worth being precise about, because "sync" gets used loosely. The plugin pushes data from WordPress to KasbPro:
- A paid WooCommerce order becomes a Sales Invoice in KasbPro, with tax and line items, and draws down the corresponding stock in KasbPro's inventory.
- Product and stock changes in WooCommerce update the matching product record in KasbPro.
- Assigning a WordPress user the "HR (KasbPro Sync)" role pushes their name and email to KasbPro as a staff profile, pending the owner's approval — nothing logs in automatically.
It does not push the other way. If you record a purchase in KasbPro and your stock increases there, that does not currently update the stock number shown on your live WooCommerce store. The plugin keeps KasbPro informed about what happens in WooCommerce; it is not (yet) a two-way stock mirror. If your selling price or availability needs to reflect a KasbPro-side purchase immediately, you still need to update WooCommerce directly for now.
What it costs, and what does not work without Pro
The plugin itself, the dashboards, and the WooCommerce sync all work on any plan, including free. The one thing gated is the AI action brief on the Overview page — a plain-English weekly summary generated by an LLM — which requires the Pro plan because, unlike the numeric dashboards, it has a real cost every time it runs.
Data on the dashboard pages is cached for about ten minutes for performance; there is a manual refresh button on each page if you need the current number right now.
The honest pitch
If your day genuinely happens in wp-admin, this removes the tab-switching for checking your numbers — not for changing them, and not (yet) for keeping your storefront's displayed stock in sync with purchases made on the KasbPro side. Know that boundary before you rely on it for stock decisions made purely from wp-admin.
