A cloud ERP with a native WordPress window

KasbPro is an AI-powered cloud ERP that runs on its own servers and syncs with your site through the KasbPro Sync plugin. You get dedicated-server performance, live insight in wp-admin, and two things most WordPress ERPs lack: Automated Replenishment that tells you what to buy next, and an Inventory Saver that frees cash from slow stock. See how it stacks up against the top 10 alternatives.

The hybrid position

Traditional WordPress ERPs run inside your site. Cloud ERPs run beside it with no WordPress presence. KasbPro connects the two: the heavy work happens in the cloud, and a read-only view of the results appears where you already work.

In wp-admin: insight

A read-only dashboard shows real profit margins, cash trends, accounts receivable, open CRM pipelines and automated replenishment alerts, without opening another tab.

Behind the scenes: the work

Payroll, double-entry journals and purchase bills run in the dedicated cloud app at erp.kasbpro.com, on infrastructure that is not shared with your storefront.

Between them: the sync engine

With WooCommerce, paid orders become sales invoices, products sync in real time, and stock changes in KasbPro push back to your store. Refunds and cancellations restore stock automatically.

Our focus

Automated Replenishment and the Inventory Saver

Most WordPress inventory tools tell you what you have. KasbPro tells you what to buy next and which stock is quietly eating your cash. Both work from your real sales history, and both are free.

Automated Replenishment

Stop scanning product lists to spot what is low.

  • A costed buying plan, not just an alert. Each flagged product gets a recommended quantity, an estimated cost at your cost price, days of cover and a projected stock-out date.
  • Built from your real sales. Quantities come from recent sales velocity and trend, covering supplier lead time, your review cycle and a safety buffer.
  • Urgency you can act on. Critical means out of stock or three days of cover or less. High needs action this week. Medium is for this ordering cycle. Sorted most urgent first.
  • Grouped by supplier. See one total per supplier, so you know who to call first and whether an order clears a free-shipping threshold.
  • One click to act, never a silent purchase. Create a purchase task or purchase bill straight from the plan. A purchase creates a real payable, so a person always confirms it.
  • Updates itself. The plan recalculates as sales come in. With WooCommerce, paid orders feed the forecast and stock pushes back to your store.

Inventory Saver

Protect cash from both stock-outs and dead stock.

  • Cash tied up in slow stock. A single number for the money sitting in overstocked and dead items, with the count of products behind it.
  • Dead-stock detection. Products with stock on hand and no sale in 90 days are flagged, so you stop reordering them.
  • Lost-sales risk. For products that will run out before a reorder lands, see the estimated units and revenue you could lose.
  • Item-wise demand forecast. 30, 60 and 90-day demand per product from your own order history, not a generic average.
  • Health at a glance. Every product is classed as reorder, low, healthy, overstock or dead, on the Inventory page and your dashboard.
  • AI advisor (Pro). Using your own AI key, it turns the numbers into steps such as discount, bundle or stop reordering, with the cash each move frees up.
Frees cash from dead stockSaves sales you would lose

From a WooCommerce sale to a supplier order

  1. Step 1

    Order syncs

A paid WooCommerce order becomes a sales invoice and deducts stock.

  2. Step 2

    Demand is learned

Sales velocity and trend update each product’s forecast.

  3. Step 3

    Plan refreshes

Urgency, quantity, cost and supplier are recalculated.

  4. Step 4

    Saver checks cash

Slow and dead stock is surfaced before you reorder it.

  5. Step 5

    You approve

One click creates the purchase task or bill. Stock syncs back to your store.

Honest limits: quantities assume a 7-day supplier lead time and 14-day review cycle for every product, the suggested supplier is whoever you last bought that item from, and forecasts need some sales history (record sales or import past WooCommerce orders). The plan and dead-stock view are free; the AI advisor is Pro.

“Heavy work off your WP server” means ledgers, reports and forecasting do not execute on your WordPress host. KasbPro's plugin still makes lightweight API calls, cached for 10 minutes. “Free with unlimited users” counts only what you can use without a paid plan or per-seat fee.

One by one

What each option does well, what it costs, and where KasbPro differs.

#1 · weDevs

KasbPro vs WP ERP

Native WordPress ERP (HR, CRM, Accounting)

Runs on your WP database
Cost model
Free core with unlimited users; Pro extensions and bundles are paid (payroll, recruitment, advanced accounting, workflows).
Where it is strong
Everything lives inside wp-admin, so there is nothing else to log in to. HR, CRM and basic accounting in one plugin.
Reordering and slow stock
No automatic reorder plan out of the box. Stock levels and low-stock flags come from the Accounting Pro inventory extension and manual review; there is no sales-velocity forecast or dead-stock report.
How KasbPro differs
Every query, report and ledger row runs on your store’s database and PHP workers, and the useful extensions are paid add-ons. KasbPro moves that load to its own cloud and keeps the advanced modules free.

#2 · Automattic

KasbPro vs Jetpack CRM

WordPress CRM with quotes and invoices

Runs on your WP database
Cost model
Free core; paid extensions and annual bundles unlock payments, automations and mail campaigns.
Where it is strong
Polished contact database, client portal, quotes and invoicing, built by the WordPress.com team.
Reordering and slow stock
No inventory features. Reordering and slow-stock decisions happen outside the plugin.
How KasbPro differs
It is a CRM, not an ERP: no inventory, purchasing, payroll or double-entry ledger. Contact data also sits in your WordPress database.

#3 · WP Manage Ninja

KasbPro vs FluentCRM

Email marketing and CRM automation

Runs on your WP database
Cost model
Free version; Pro is billed per site per year. Email delivery needs a separate SMTP or API service.
Where it is strong
Excellent automation builder and WooCommerce triggers for marketing, with no per-contact fees.
Reordering and slow stock
No inventory features. It can trigger marketing emails from orders, but it cannot tell you what to reorder or what is stuck on the shelf.
How KasbPro differs
Marketing automation only. It does not track stock, bills, payroll or profit, so you still need an ERP next to it.

#4 · Stock Management Labs

KasbPro vs ATUM Inventory Management

WooCommerce inventory and purchase orders

Runs on your WP database
Cost model
Free core with suppliers and basic purchase orders; advanced add-ons (PO Pro, multi-inventory, barcodes) are paid per year.
Where it is strong
Very capable stock control with a spreadsheet-style Stock Central and supplier tracking.
Reordering and slow stock
Strong manual control: low-stock levels, suppliers and purchase orders you create yourself. Reorder suggestions and stock analytics are limited to what you set up and what paid add-ons provide; it does not produce a forecast-driven buying plan.
How KasbPro differs
Inventory only: no accounting, CRM or HR. Stock logs and reports are heavy tables in your WordPress database.

#5 · Zoho

KasbPro vs Zoho Books + Inventory

Cloud accounting and inventory with a WooCommerce connector

Separate system
Cost model
Free plans with 1 user; paid Books plans start around $15/mo (3 users) and Inventory around $29/mo, both billed annually. Seat limits apply and extra users cost more.
Where it is strong
Mature accounting, tax handling and a large app ecosystem. Runs off-site, so no load on WordPress.
Reordering and slow stock
Reorder points and stock alerts exist in Zoho Inventory. Forecast-driven buy quantities and dead-stock cash analysis are not its focus.
How KasbPro differs
CRM and HR are separate paid Zoho products, nothing shows up in wp-admin, and users are priced per seat.

#6 · MyWorks Software

KasbPro vs MyWorks Sync for QuickBooks

WooCommerce to QuickBooks Online sync

Separate system
Cost model
Free for very low order volume, then tiered monthly plans by orders per month, plus your QuickBooks subscription.
Where it is strong
Reliable order, customer and payout sync for stores that already live in QuickBooks Online.
Reordering and slow stock
Syncs stock quantities and costs into QuickBooks. It does not decide what to reorder or flag dead stock.
How KasbPro differs
It is a bridge, not an ERP. You pay for the sync and QuickBooks, and get no CRM, HR, payroll or built-in forecasting.

#7 · Odoo S.A. and third-party vendors

KasbPro vs Odoo + WooCommerce connector

Full modular ERP

Separate system
Cost model
A free one-app plan exists; multi-app plans are priced per user. Third-party WooCommerce connectors usually need a plan or hosting that allows custom modules.
Where it is strong
The broadest module catalogue of any option here, with manufacturing, HR and more.
Reordering and slow stock
Reordering rules and min/max stock are available in the Inventory app, and powerful purchasing flows exist. Dead-stock analysis needs custom reports and configuration.
How KasbPro differs
Powerful but heavy to set up and priced per user once you go past one app. No native wp-admin dashboards.

#8 · Frappe

KasbPro vs ERPNext + WooCommerce integration

Open-source ERP

Separate system
Cost model
Software is free to self-host; you pay for hosting and admin time, or for Frappe Cloud.
Where it is strong
Deep, open-source ERP with strong accounting, stock and HR, and no license fees.
Reordering and slow stock
Reorder levels and material requests can be configured. Forecast-driven plans and slow-stock cash reporting need setup or custom reports.
How KasbPro differs
Self-hosting means you run servers, upgrades and backups. The WooCommerce link needs configuration and has no wp-admin insight screens.

#9 · Dolibarr community

KasbPro vs Dolibarr + WooCommerce module

Open-source ERP and CRM

Separate system
Cost model
Free software to self-host; WooCommerce modules are typically third-party and may be paid.
Where it is strong
Lightweight open-source ERP for small teams that are comfortable running their own server.
Reordering and slow stock
Minimum-stock alerts and replenishment tools exist, with basic stock reports. No forecasting or dead-stock cash analysis out of the box.
How KasbPro differs
You maintain hosting and updates yourself, WooCommerce modules come from third parties, and there are no AI insights or wp-admin dashboards.

#10 · Katana MRP

KasbPro vs Katana

Cloud inventory and manufacturing for e-commerce

Separate system
Cost model
A free tier is limited to about 30 SKUs; paid plans start at roughly $299 per month.
Where it is strong
Strong production planning and real-time stock for makers and multichannel sellers.
Reordering and slow stock
Reorder points and purchase suggestions are a core strength for makers and sellers. Cash tied up in slow stock is less of a focus.
How KasbPro differs
Focused on inventory and manufacturing: accounting needs a separate tool, there is no HR or CRM, and nothing appears in wp-admin.

When KasbPro is not the right fit

A fair comparison names the trade-offs. Pick something else if:

  • You want every ERP screen, including journals and payroll, inside wp-admin. KasbPro’s WordPress screens are read-only.
  • You need an offline or fully self-hosted system. KasbPro is a cloud service and needs a connected account.
  • You only need email marketing or a simple contact list. FluentCRM or Jetpack CRM are lighter for that.
  • You need heavy manufacturing or MRP planning. Odoo, ERPNext or Katana go deeper there.

Frequently asked questions

Does KasbPro place purchase orders automatically?+

No, by design. The replenishment plan is automatic and updates itself as sales come in, but turning it into a purchase bill creates a real liability on your books, so you review and click. Nothing is ordered or posted silently.

How does the replenishment plan decide quantities?+

It uses each product’s recent sales velocity and trend, then covers lead time plus your review cycle plus a safety buffer. Today it assumes a 7-day supplier lead time and a 14-day review cycle for every product, and the supplier shown is whoever you last bought that item from. Treat quantities as a sound starting point and check them against what you know about each supplier.

What is the Inventory Saver?+

It is the part of KasbPro’s inventory insights that protects your cash on both sides: it flags products at risk of stocking out (with estimated lost units and revenue) and shows how much money is tied up in slow, overstocked and dead stock (no sale in 90 days). On Pro, the AI advisor, using your own AI key, turns those numbers into step-by-step suggestions such as discounting, bundling or stopping reorders.

Is KasbPro a WordPress plugin?+

No. KasbPro is a cloud ERP at erp.kasbpro.com. The free KasbPro Sync plugin connects your WordPress site to it, adds read-only insight dashboards to wp-admin and, with WooCommerce, syncs orders, products, customers and stock.

Will KasbPro slow down my WordPress site?+

It is designed not to. Ledgers, payroll, reports and forecasting run on KasbPro’s own infrastructure. The plugin only sends sync events and requests summary figures, which are cached for 10 minutes.

Can I do my accounting inside wp-admin?+

No, and that is deliberate. The wp-admin screens are read-only insight dashboards. Journals, payroll and purchase bills are done in the KasbPro app, which keeps heavy workflows off your web server. If you want every screen inside WordPress, a native plugin such as WP ERP fits that preference better.

Do I need WooCommerce?+

No. The dashboards and HR staff sync work on any WordPress site. WooCommerce is only needed for automatic order, product and stock sync and for the per-product cost price field.

What is actually free?+

Running your business on KasbPro is free forever with no record or team-member caps. Pro is $49 per year (30-day free trial) and adds advanced reporting, AI and document add-ons.

What happens to my data if I leave?+

Your books can be exported to Excel, CSV or JSON at any time. Deleting the plugin removes its stored settings from WordPress and leaves your KasbPro data untouched.

How accurate is this comparison?+

It is based on each vendor’s public information as of October 2026. Pricing and features change often, so check the vendor’s site before you decide. Spotted something out of date? Tell us via kasbpro.com.
